I guess the only answer is pretty straight forward, a purely service model. I.e. customers pay for the usage of a product rather than to own the product. Software Vendors who use functional obsolescence and lock in tactics will soon be driven out of the marketplace. This is the biggest consideration when moving into the cloud. I guess partners are going to have to step up. What business model can replace this is an very interesting question.
